Baba Siddiqui Murder's Mastermind Zeeshan Akhtar Arrested in Canada

Mumbai/Jalandhar (The Uttam Hindu): Surrey Police has arrested Zeeshan Akhtar alias Jassi Purewal, a resident of Jalandhar in Murder case of Baba Siddiqui. Zeeshan was the mastermind of the murder that took place on October 12, 2024 in Mumbai. He then fled to Canada with the help of Pakistani don Shehzad bhatti and is wanted in 9 cases including murder,target killing and robbery. The Bishnoi gang had taken responsibility of the murder. A few arrests have already been made in this case.

The Lawrence gang had threatened to kill Akhtar and Bhatti, and Akhtar had released a video statement claiming Bhatti had taken him to a safe place and provided him with asylum. The police had arrested four youths in connection with Siddiqui's murder, and Akhtar's arrest in Canada marks a significant development in the case.
