Badrinath Dham Doors Opened After Kedarnath; 10,000 Devotees Arrive in 2 Hours, CM Dhami Performs Darshan

Chamoli (The Uttam Hindu): The doors of Badrinath Dham were opened today at 6 am on Sunday. The chief priest of the temple opened the doors of the temple after Ganesh Puja. During this there was a huge crowd of people and women sang folk songs. The band of Garhwal Rifles played traditional tunes. With this, the Chardham Yatra has started completely. Earlier, the doors of Gangotri-Yamunotri Dham were opened on 30 April on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya and the doors of Kedarnath Dham were opened on 2 May.
After the doors of Badrinath Dham were opened, more than 10 thousand devotees reached the Dham in the next 2 hours. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also performed worship and darshan. Devotees will be able to see Lord Badrivishal for the next 6 months. On May 3, the palanquin of Lord Badrivishal, the throne of Adi Guru Shankaracharya, the festive doli of Kuber and Uddhav reached the Dham.
Just like Yamunotri Dham, devotees are visiting Badrinath temple to have darshan of the Lord after taking bath in the hot pool. Hot stream of water from Alaknanda river flows into the hot pool present in Badrinath Dham surrounded by snowy mountains. It is believed that whoever takes bath in the hot pool and has darshan of Lord Badri Vishal attains Baikunth Dham.
