New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): A tragic accident has claimed the life of Gaurav Jaisingh, a senior at Bentley University in Massachusetts, during a pre-graduation trip to the Bahamas. Jaisingh fell from an upper-level balcony at a hotel on Paradise Island on Sunday evening.
According to the Royal Bahamas Police Force, authorities responded to reports of a man falling from a balcony around 10 pm local time. Jaisingh was found unresponsive on a lower floor and later died of his injuries en route to the hospital. Bentley University confirmed the incident, calling it "an enormous tragedy" for the community. The university shared its deepest condolences with Jaisingh's family, friends and loved ones, and stated that local authorities are investigating the incident.
