India Denies Pakistan's Allegations on Khuzdar School Bus Attack, Calls It a 'Tactic to Divert Attention'

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu) : Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal condemned Pakistan's allegations and said that Pakistan has been adopting such tactics to divert attention from its issues. India on Monday gave a befitting reply to Pakistan by rejecting India's involvement in the suicide attack on a school bus in Khuzdar city of Balochistan. Four children were killed in this attack.
Condemning the allegations, Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said Pakistan resorts to such tactics to divert attention from its own issues. India also expressed condolences over the deaths in the incident. Jaiswal said in a statement, “India rejects the baseless allegations levelled by Pakistan about India’s involvement in the incident in Khuzdar today. India condoles the deaths in all such incidents. However, to divert attention from its reputation as a global hub of terrorism and to hide its own major failures, it has become second nature for Pakistan to blame India for all its internal issues. This attempt to deceive the world is doomed to fail.”
Pakistan had accused India of involvement in a suspected suicide attack on a school bus in Khuzdar town of Balochistan on Wednesday morning. When the blast occurred, about 40 students were travelling in the army-run school bus in Khuzdar, many of whom were injured. Pakistan's army and Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif condemned the attack and blamed 'Indian terror agents' for the incident. However, like every time, this time too no evidence was given to support this claim. The media wing of the Pakistani army said, "The planners, instigators of this cowardly sponsored attack will be traced and brought to justice." No group has yet claimed responsibility for this attack in Balochistan. In 2014, more than 130 school children lost their lives in one of the deadliest terror attacks in Pakistan. It happened on a military school in Peshawar. Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan had claimed responsibility for that attack.
