Big Conspiracy Foiled: Nauman Ilahi Caught Spying for ISI, Tasked to Leak Video of Operation Sindoor

Panipat/Kairana (The Uttam Hindu): Nauman Ilahi, who was arrested on charges of spying for Pakistan's intelligence agency ISI, was interrogated intensively by the police on the third day of his remand. On Friday, a total of six agencies, including central agencies, army, intelligence units of Uttar Pradesh and Haryana, interrogated him till late night.
Big conspiracy foiled: Arrested Nauman Ilahi was spying for ISI, was given the task of sending a video in Operation Sindoor: According to sources, Nauman made a big disclosure and said that he was ordered by ISI commander Iqbal Kana to make and send videos of the army's activities in Srinagar under 'Operation Sindoor'. In return, he was promised financial prosperity.
Investigation has revealed that ISI had planned to target the army train going from Delhi to Jammu. Several such video clips have been recovered from Nauman's mobile, which are related to the army train and its activities. Apart from this, recordings of conversations with several suspects have also been found from his mobile.
On Friday, Haryana Police took Nauman to his house in Begumpura locality of Kairana and searched it. During the investigation, passports and documents of many people were recovered from there. However, the laptop and pen drive in which the photos and videos related to ISI were kept could not be recovered.
Nauman revealed during interrogation that Pakistani intelligence agency is preparing sleeper cells in the Khadar region of Yamuna. ISI is using the youth of Haryana and Western Uttar Pradesh as its soft targets.
It is being told that ISI agent Iqbal Kana, who lives in Pakistan, is a resident of Kairana and he has also contacted many other youths of the area. Now the police has started searching for those youths.
It is worth noting that Nauman Ilahi was working as a security guard in a factory while staying with his sister in Panipat for the last four months. During this time, he was continuously collecting information for ISI.
On Tuesday, the CIA-One team of Panipat arrested him and took him on seven-day remand. On Friday, a ten-member team led by SI Devraj Singh took him to Kairana and investigated.
