Viral Video Shows BJP Leader in Inappropriate Act with Woman; Party Seeks Explanation
Gonda (The Uttam Hindu): An obscene video of the district president of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party in Gonda district of Uttar Pradesh is going viral on social media. In the video, BJP district president Amar Kishore Kashyap is seen doing obscene acts with a female worker at the party office.
A party worker called this incident shameful and complained about it to the party leadership. After the video surfaced, the state leadership of the party has issued a notice to him and sought a reply within seven days. According to this video recorded in the CCTV camera of the party office, the BJP leader reached the party office in his car at 9:34 pm on the night of the incident. Meanwhile, a young man saw him and went to meet him. He talked to the young man for a few minutes at the gate and then turned back and opened the back door of his car. As soon as the gate opened, a woman got down from it and walked towards the stairs of the office with quick steps. It is seen in the video that BJP District President Kashyap is also going up behind her and does obscene acts with her on the stairs itself. The woman seen in the video is said to be a BJP worker. After the video went viral on social media, the state general secretary of the party, Govind Narayan Shukla, has issued a show cause notice and sought a reply.
The letter said, "Information about your act has been received from the video received through social media. Your conduct has adversely affected the image of the party, which comes under the category of indiscipline." It said, "As per the instructions of the state president, a show cause notice is issued to you with the intention that you should provide your explanation to the BJP state office within seven days. If the explanation and satisfactory answer are not received on time, the party will take strict action." Kashyap, on the other hand, has called the video a conspiracy of the opponents. He said, "The woman seen in the video is a party worker. On the day of the incident, her health had deteriorated. She had asked for a place to rest. We took her to the party office. While climbing the stairs, the woman felt dizzy. We held her to handle her. The opponents are presenting this incident in a wrong way."
