Ceasefire Breach by Pakistan at 8 Points Along LoC, Indian Army Retaliates

Jammu (The Uttam Hindu): The situation on the Line of Control remains tense due to the Pakistani army. The ceasefire was violated by Pakistan's military posts for the 12th day here. Pakistani soldiers opened fire from across the Line of Control.
According to the Indian Army, on the night of 05-06 May, the Pakistani Army opened fire in the areas around Kupwara, Baramulla, Poonch, Rajouri, Mendhar, Nowshera, Sunderbani and Akhnoor in Jammu and Kashmir. This firing was done with small arms without any provocation by the posts of the Pakistan Army from across the Line of Control. The Indian Army responded appropriately to this firing.
Pakistan is not only firing on the Line of Control, but cyber hackers linked to Pakistan have also targeted Indian websites. Pakistani cyber attackers have tried to steal sensitive data through cyber attacks on websites related to defense and armed forces in India. Through the Twitter account of Pakistani hackers "Pakistan Cyber Force", it has been claimed that they have obtained sensitive information from the Indian Military Engineering Service (MES) and Manohar Parrikar Institute for Defense Studies and Analysis.
This claim indicates that the attackers may have accessed personal information and login credentials of defense personnel. India's cyber security experts and agencies have taken immediate action. Pakistan is also pushing cyber hackers amid the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir and the subsequent situation on the Line of Control.
Meanwhile, India is taking appropriate action with restraint. India is also getting support from the global community. In this connection, Japan's Defense Minister arrived in India on Monday. He met Defense Minister Rajnath Singh here. In this meeting, Japan's Defense Minister expressed full support to India.

During this meeting in New Delhi, the Japanese Defence Minister extended his support to India. He said that Japan stands with India.
