Ghaziabad (The Uttam Hindu): A shocking incident has come to light in Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh. When a head constable posted at Sahibabad police station asked to remove the car from the middle of the road, a PAC soldier beat him up and also tore his uniform. On the complaint of the head constable, a case has been registered against the accused PAC soldier.

This incident happened on the night of 10 May near Arthala metro station in Sahibabad area. Head constable Vinay Kumar posted at Sahibabad police station told in his report that on Sunday night around 10 o'clock he was clearing the jam in front of a hotel near the metro station. During this time, a car was found parked in the middle of the road.

Head constable Vinay Kumar asked the car driver to move the vehicle. It is alleged that the person driving the car, identified as constable Arvind Singh Rajoura posted in the 41st battalion of PAC, started abusing. He threatened and moved the vehicle a little ahead.

According to the head constable, after going some distance, Arvind Singh Rajoura came back and started beating him and also tore his uniform. It was told that at that time the accused PAC constable was drunk. Head constable Vinay Kumar suffered injuries on his right shoulder and neck in the fight. After the incident, the head constable informed his colleagues through the wireless set, after which both were brought to the police station.

Confirming the case, ACP Sahibabad Shweta Yadav said that the accused Arvind Singh Rajoura is posted as a constable in the 41st battalion of PAC. She said that the accused was under the influence of alcohol, which was also confirmed in the medical examination.

On the complaint of Head Constable Vinay Kumar, a case has been registered against the accused constable Arvind Singh Rajoura. After interrogation, the accused constable has been granted bail from the police station itself. The ACP said that the matter is being investigated seriously and further legal action will be taken on the basis of the investigation.
