Aligarh (The Uttam Hindu): A dramatic incident unfolded on the Khereshwar Chauraha highway in Aligarh's Lodha police station area when Samajwadi Party MP Ramjilal Suman's convoy was involved in a collision. The vehicles in the convoy collided with each other while traveling at high speed, resulting in damage to several vehicles. According to reports, the accident occurred when the convoy suddenly panicked after spotting Karni Sena workers. The panic led to the vehicles colliding with each other.

Fortunately, no one was seriously injured in the incident, and Ramjilal Suman was given a pass ahead of Aligarh. The MP later left for Gabhana-Bulandshahr after assessing the situation. The City SP, Mrigank Shekhar Pathak, confirmed that a case is being registered at the Gabhana police station, and necessary action will be taken. Tyres were allegedly thrown at the convoy, leading to the accident.

SP chief Akhilesh Yadav strongly condemned the incident, calling it a "deadly attack" and a "criminal act." He alleged that the government and administration were either deliberately negligent or had a grave lapse in intelligence. The Karni Sena had previously warned Ramjilal Suman, opposing his statements and planning to stop him from traveling from Agra to Bulandshahr. The state president of Karni Sena, Gyanendra Singh, had given the warning.
