New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Corona virus cases are once again increasing in the country. In the last 24 hours, 378 new cases of Covid-19 have been reported across the country, after which the total number of active cases has increased to over 6000. According to the data of the Health Ministry, 6 people have also died due to this infection in the last 24 hours.

According to the data released on the website of the Ministry of Health, Kerala is still the most affected state by Corona. After Kerala, the highest number of Covid cases have been reported in Gujarat, West Bengal and Delhi. However, experts say that the new variant of Corona is not very dangerous.

Looking at the data of the last 48 hours, the total number of Covid-19 cases in the country has increased by 769 patients. 58 people have died in the last 9 days. The Health Ministry says that most of the cases are mild and the patients are recovering with home treatment. According to the ministry, only Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram are the states where there are currently no active cases of Covid.

It is worth noting that on May 22, there were only 257 active cases of corona in the country, but since then the number of cases has been increasing continuously and now this number has reached 6133. The central government has instructed all the states to ensure adequate availability of oxygen, isolation beds, ventilators and essential medicines.

If we talk about the number of active cases of corona virus in the country at present, then this number is relatively high in some states. Among these, Kerala is at the top, where 1950 active cases have been registered. After this, there are 822 active cases in Gujarat, 693 in West Bengal, 686 in Delhi and 595 in Maharashtra.
