Terror Panic in Delhi! Over 20 Schools Receive Bomb Threat Emails for the Third Time This Week

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Panic spread across the national capital once again after more than 20 schools in Delhi received bomb threat emails on Friday morning.

Among the targeted institutions were Richmond School in Paschim Vihar, Abhinav Public School in Rohini Sector-3, and Sovereign School in Rohini Sector-24. The emails claimed that bombs had been planted inside the school premises.

As soon as the threats were reported, school authorities immediately evacuated students to safety and alerted the police. Teams from the Delhi Police, Fire Department, and Bomb Disposal Squad rushed to the spots and launched a massive search operation. So far, no suspicious objects have been found, but as a precaution, security has been tightened around all schools.

This is the third such bomb threat incident in Delhi this week. On Tuesday and Wednesday, several prestigious schools like St. Thomas School in Dwarka, Vasant Valley School, and St. Stephen’s College received similar threat emails. Earlier investigations revealed that in some cases, students themselves were behind the prank emails. Delhi Police has appealed to parents and students to remain calm and not believe in rumors while assuring that cyber experts are tracing the origin of the emails.
