Sangrur (The Uttam Hindu): Senior Shiromani Akali Dal leader and former Union Minister Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa (who died yesterday at Fortis Hospital in Mohali) will be cremated tomorrow, May 30, at his native village Ubhawal (near the new building of Kendriya Vidyalaya) at 3 pm. Before this, his body will be brought from Chandigarh to Sangrur and kept at his residence near Nanakiana Chowk in Sangrur from 10.30 am to 2 pm, so that people can pay their last respects.

After this, the last journey will start and he will be cremated at his native village Ubhawal near Sangrur at 3 pm. This information has been given by the family. Sukhwinder Singh Aulakh, a leader close to the Dhindsa family, quoted Parminder Singh Dhindsa as saying that his body was brought from Fortis Hospital, Mohali to his house in Sector 2, Chandigarh at around 11.30 am today, where those wishing to have a last glimpse of him will be able to do so.
