Health Worker in Kutch Arrested for Spying for ISI; Received ₹40,000 for Sharing Border Information

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has arrested a Pakistani spy from the border area of Kutch. The arrested spy has been identified as Sahdevsinh Gohil, who was working as a health worker in the area. He is accused of collecting important information related to the Indian border and sending it to Pakistan.
According to ATS sources, Gohil had shared information about many sensitive areas of Gujarat with Pakistani intelligence agency ISI. It is being told that in return for spying, he used to get 40 thousand rupees per information from Pakistan. His phone has been sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) for further investigation.
ISI agent Shahzad also in the clutches of ATS, was arranging fake SIM and money
In another major action, another agent named Shahzad, who was spying for the Pakistani intelligence agency ISI, has been arrested. According to sources, Shahzad, a resident of Rampur, has traveled to Pakistan three times and Dubai 10 times. He had also taken his wife to Pakistan twice.
Initial interrogation has revealed that Shahzad was first a driver, then got involved in smuggling and gradually started spying for ISI. According to sources, Shahzad provided SIM cards to ISI agents on fake names at their behest and also arranged money for them. Shahzad was in contact with Pakistani Embassy official Ahsan ur Rehman alias Danish for a long time.
According to ATS sources, now the ATS is on the radar of all those people who were in contact with Shahzad. Many of these include local residents of Rampur, whose investigation is going on.
