Hyderabad (The Uttam Hindu): Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has raised questions over Prime Minister Narendra Modi's decision to declare a ceasefire against Pakistan without consulting political parties. Reddy questioned why no all-party meeting was held before declaring the ceasefire, despite an all-party meeting being held before military strikes began.

Rahul Gandhi Would Have Taken PoK Back: Reddy

Reddy claimed that if Rahul Gandhi were the Prime Minister, India would have taken back Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK). He drew comparisons with former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi's leadership and her decisive action against China and Pakistan, including the 1971 war that led to the creation of Bangladesh.

PM Modi an "Expired Rupee": Reddy

Reddy called PM Modi an "expired rupee" and said that the country needs Rahul Gandhi's leadership. He stated that Rahul Gandhi would have walked in the footsteps of Indira Gandhi and would have taken decisive action against Pakistan.

Congress' History of Sacrifice

Reddy highlighted the Congress party's history of sacrificing for the country and appealed to party leaders and workers to strive hard until Rahul Gandhi becomes Prime Minister. He also lashed out at the BJP's recent Tiranga Rally, stating that the Congress' Jai Hind Yatra aims to restore self-confidence among Indian soldiers demoralized by the BJP's moves.

Questions Over Rafale Jets

Reddy questioned the purchase of Rafale jets and asked how many had been downed by Pakistan. He alleged that the Modi government favored contracts worth thousands of crores to people close to the government.
