New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): After the declaration of ceasefire between India and Pakistan, the Indian Air Force (IAF) has issued a statement regarding 'Operation Sindoor'. The Indian Air Force said that the operation is still going on.

The Indian Air Force shared a post on its X handle on Sunday and said, "The Indian Air Force (IAF) has successfully carried out its tasks in 'Operation Sindoor' with precision and professionalism. The operation has been carried out thoughtfully and confidentially in accordance with national objectives. Since the operation is still ongoing, detailed information will be given later."

Appealing to avoid speculation and unverified information, he further wrote, “Indian Air Force requests everyone to avoid speculation and dissemination of unverified information.” Let us tell you that on Saturday, US President Donald Trump made a big announcement regarding the tension between India and Pakistan. He said that India and Pakistan have agreed for an immediate complete ceasefire on the conflict that has been going on for the last three days. This agreement has been reached with the mediation of America.

However, regarding the ceasefire violation, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said late Saturday night that the army has been ordered to take strict action. He said that Pakistan has "grossly violated" the agreement reached between the DGMOs of India and Pakistan on Saturday evening to stop military action within a few hours. Vikram Misri had told the media that the Indian Army is retaliating strongly and is trying to stop the border encroachment. He had said that this action by Pakistan is "highly condemnable and the entire responsibility for this lies with Pakistan".

Earlier, the Indian government took a big decision regarding the ongoing fight against terrorism. The government gave a strict message that any terrorist incident in the future will be considered an act of war against India. Top sources in the Indian government had said that India has decided that any terrorist act in future will be treated as an act of war against India and will be responded to accordingly.
