Modernization of Police is Necessary for the Internal Security of The Country: Yogi

Kasganj (The Uttam Hindu) : Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Tuesday that modernization of the police force is very important for the internal security of the country.
On the occasion of inauguration and foundation stone laying of 60 development projects worth Rs 724 crore in Kasganj, he also inaugurated the newly built ultra-modern police lines spread over 25.63 hectares, Rs 191 crore has been spent on its construction. Yogi said that the double engine government is committed to the mythological and spiritual development of Kasganj as well as modernizing the basic facilities here. He said that Kasganj district, formed in 2008, was yearning for development. Development was never in the agenda of the governments before 2017, anarchy and corruption were their identity. Today Kasganj is running fast on the path of development.
The Chief Minister said that the newly constructed Police Lines in Kasganj will prove to be a milestone in the modernization of Uttar Pradesh Police. He said that this Police Lines, built at a cost of Rs 191 crore, has barracks for 1,000 police personnel, residential facilities for officers, auditorium and other modern facilities. He said that earlier the police personnel were forced to live in dilapidated barracks, but now luxurious residential facilities are being provided in high-rise buildings. This Police Lines is a model for the country.
Praising the Uttar Pradesh Police Housing Corporation, Yogi said that this is a big step towards empowering the police and ensuring internal security. The CM said that today UP Police has become a death knell for the mafias. No mafia can run a parallel government, nor can it capture the property of the poor. Those who try to intrude on the security of daughters and businessmen now have to wait for Yamraj.
He said that just like PM Modi modernized the army for the security of the country, the result of which was seen in Operation Sindoor, when the Indian Army brought Pakistan to its knees. He said that if we did not have a strong army and brave soldiers, the security of the country could have been in danger. Today the Indian Army has the capability to enter the enemy's home and destroy him. Similarly, it is necessary to modernize the police for the internal security of the country and the state.
