Chinmay Das was arrested in November last year on charges of sedition. Chinmay Das's lawyer finally got him bail in today's hearing in the Bangladesh High Court in Dhaka. Recently, Chittagong Metropolitan Session Judge Mohammad Saiful Islam rejected Chinmay Krishna Das's petition saying that he did not have a letter of attorney from any lawyer. After this, senior lawyer of Bangladesh Supreme Court and human rights activist Ravindra Ghosh went to Chittagong and presented a petition in the court for Chinmay Krishna Das.
