'If America Gets Involved With Israel...' Iran Cautions Trump Against US Intervention in Israel War

Geneva (The Uttam Hindu): Israel Defense Forces (IDF) claimed on Saturday that its precise strikes killed senior Iranian military officer Saeed Izadi and Quds Force Weapon Transfer Unit Commander Behnam Shahriari in western Iran. On the other hand, Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has said that if America actively joins the war with Israel, it will be 'extremely dangerous for everyone'.
Araghchi's statement has come at a time when US President Donald Trump is considering US military involvement. Araghchi said in this context that if this happens then 'it will be very unfortunate'. Araghchi said this while talking to journalists in Istanbul while returning from Geneva after talks. However, no diplomatic success could be achieved in this conversation. After the talks ended, Araghchi said that he is ready for further talks. But he stressed that Tehran has no interest in talking to America amid the ongoing attacks from Israel. Hours of diplomatic talks aimed at reducing tensions between Israel and Iran have failed. European ministers and top Iranian diplomats held a four-hour meeting in Geneva on Friday. At the same time, President Trump was considering bringing the US army into the war and concerns had increased about possible attacks on nuclear reactors.
European officials have expressed hope for future talks. Abbas Araghchi has said that he is ready for further talks. He stressed that Iran has no interest in talks with the US because of the continuous attacks by Israel. He said, 'If the attacks stop and the attacker is held accountable for his crimes, then Iran is ready to consider diplomatic steps.' No next date has been set for the talks.
