The Israeli army has announced the launch of a new large-scale ground military operation in Gaza. Netanyahu posted a video on Telegram and said, "The battle is very intense and we are moving forward. We will take control of all areas of the Gaza Strip. We will not give up, but to succeed we will have to act in a way that cannot be stopped." Netanyahu said, "We must not allow the population of Gaza to go towards famine for both practical and diplomatic reasons." He said that even Israel's friendly countries would not tolerate the pictures of mass starvation.
