From the deceased Naxalites, the forces recovered two INSAS rifles, one SLR (Self-Loading Rifle), and a pistol. Notably, no injuries were reported among the security personnel, making the mission even more successful.

According to local villagers, gunfire erupted around 4 a.m. in the Chor Ganwa-Mundatoli area of Lugu Pahad. When residents looked outside, they saw a heavy deployment of police and paramilitary forces in the region. Following the encounter, the forces launched a massive search operation across the area. Authorities believe some Naxalites may have escaped and are currently being tracked.

It’s worth noting that COBRA (Commando Battalion for Resolute Action) is a specialized unit of the CRPF, trained specifically for jungle warfare and guerrilla combat. It conducts major operations in Naxal-affected regions and is known for high-efficiency strikes deep inside rebel territory.
