On Tuesday, three terrorists belonging to Lashkar-e-Taiba were killed in an encounter in Shopian in South Kashmir. Sources said that the identity of two of the three terrorists belonging to Lashkar-e-Taiba (LET) has been confirmed. Three terrorists were killed in Shukru forest area of ​​Keller in Shopian district.

According to sources, one of the terrorists has been identified as Shahid Kutte, son of Mohammad Yousuf Kutte and a resident of Chotipora Hirpora, Shopian. He was a Category A, LeT operative who was involved in the firing incident at Danish Resort in Srinagar on April 8, 2024 in which two German tourists and a driver were injured. He had joined the terror outfit on March 8, 2023.
