Married Woman Elopes With Lover, Bijnor Police Still Buffering

Bijnor (The Uttam Hindu): A case of a married woman eloping with her lover has come to light in a village of the district, which has shocked her in-laws and parents. On the complaint of the husband, the police have registered a missing person case and started investigation, but the woman's family is dissatisfied with the police action and is accusing them of negligence. According to the information received, a family from Bijnor in UP was living in a rented house in a village for some time. The married daughter of this family left her husband and went away with her lover about a week ago.
The woman's family alleges that when they contacted the youth's family, they refused to hand over the woman back and behaved indecently with them. After this, the victim's family complained about the matter to the police, but they allege that initially the police refused to take their written complaint. The family says that the police asked them to give a missing person report, after which the missing person report was registered.
The family alleges that even after a week of the incident, the police have not been able to find any clue of the woman. The victim's family is forced to visit the Ferupur police station for justice. Angry with the slow action of the police, the family has said that they will soon meet the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) and plead for justice.
In this regard, Ferupur Police Station in-charge Sudhanshu Kaushik said that the woman's missing report has been registered and she is being searched. He said that the accused youth's family members are also missing from home. According to the Police Station in-charge, the matter is being investigated seriously.
