Amritsar (The Uttam Hindu): On the occasion of the anniversary of Operation Blue Star, there is news of a ruckus outside Sri Akal Takht Sahib in Amritsar. According to the information, a young man attacked the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee task force with a sword.

Actually, due to the crowd, the Sangat was being prevented from entering Sri Akal Takht Sahib. During this, a young man who reached the Takht had an altercation with the SGPC task force. The angry youth took out a sword and attacked the task force. The young man was seen roaming among the Sangat with a sword in his hand. When the situation did not improve here too, the task force surrounded the young man. His turban was also removed. Finally he was locked in a room at the back. The angry youth did not sit peacefully even inside the room. To come out of the room, he broke the glass on the door of the room with his bangle and tried to come out. After which the police took him into their custody. But later he was released after the intervention of Akal Takht Sahib's acting Jathedar Giani Kuldeep Singh Gadgaj.
