Pakistan breached the ceasefire for the ninth day in a row; Indian Army responded firmly

Jammu (The Uttam Hindu): The Indian Army has responded with prompt and appropriate action after Pakistani soldiers initiated unprovoked firing along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir on the night of May 2-3, 2025. The firing occurred in the Kupwara, Uri and Akhnoor areas, and the Indian Army retaliated with restraint.

Pakistan's Pattern of Nighttime Firing

This incident is part of a larger pattern of escalating tensions along the LoC, with Pakistan firing on the border every night for the past eight days.
