Islamabad (The Uttam Hindu): India has given a befitting reply to the attack carried out by Pakistan on Thursday. The effect of the Indian Army's retaliatory action is now visible in the Parliament of Pakistan as well. A Pakistani MP has called their Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif a 'coward'.

Pakistan MP Shahid Ahmed Khattak said in the National Assembly, "There has been no statement from him (PM Shahbaz Sharif) on India's stance. I am remembering Tipu Sultan's statement in which he said that if the leader of an army is a lion and there are jackals with him, then they fight like lions. But, if the leader of an army of lions is a jackal, then they cannot fight and lose the war." He further said, "At this time, our soldier standing on the border expects that our leader, who is our face, who is the mirror of our strength, should be equally strong politically. He should have the courage to fight the enemy, but when your Wazir-e-Azam (Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif) is a coward and he cannot even take Modi's name, then what message are you giving to the soldier fighting on the border?"

On Thursday itself, a video went viral in which a member of Pakistan's National Assembly and former army major Tahir Iqbal wept while presenting his views. Former Pakistani major Tahir Iqbal had said in the National Assembly, "We tell our community to walk together and pray to our God to protect all of us. Protect this country." Tahir Iqbal had said that Allah wanted Pakistan to be formed and he is the one who created this country. Now he will protect it. He had said while crying, "Allah, please forgive us. We bow our heads in front of you, weep and there is no doubt that we are big sinners of yours."
