Chandigarh (The Uttam Hindu): Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini has directed officials to ensure that any Pakistani national in the state with a visa be detained and deported within 24 hours. This follows instructions from Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who recently advised all state Chief Ministers to identify and send back Pakistani nationals residing in their states.

In response, the Haryana government has issued orders for the expulsion of 460 Pakistanis living in the state. CM Naib Saini has requested the Home Department to devise a plan for carrying out this directive, which came after a call from Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday.
