Jawad's post highlighted the desperation and sacrifice that many parents in Gaza are making to provide for their families.

The price hike of Parle-G biscuits is not an isolated incident. Essential commodities like sugar and potatoes are being sold at absurd prices, with one kg of sugar costing nearly Rs 5,000 and potatoes selling for close to Rs 2,000.
