Rahul Gandhi, Kharge demand special Parliament session over Pahalgam attack; write to PM Modi

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): There is an atmosphere of panic in the whole country after the incident of Pahalgam incident. Meanwhile, the congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and congress leader Rahul Gandhi wrote letter to PM Modi and urged them to discuss about this matter and with all this they also urged them to to call a special session of Parliament. After the terrorist attack last week, many opposition MPs have made such a demand from the government. The letter written to the Prime Minister further said, 'Unity and solidarity are necessary at this time, in this crucial time India has to show that we are always united against terrorism.'
According to Kharge, calling a special session of Parliament will be a powerful demonstration of our collective resolve and will to deal with the brutal terrorist attack in Pahalgam on innocent civilians on April 22. We hope that the session will be convened accordingly. Congress communication chief Jairam Ramesh released the letter on Tuesday morning.
Rahul Gandhi has also written a letter to PM Modi. He wrote, 'Dear Prime Minister, the terrorist attack in Pahalgam has shaken every Indian. In this delicate time, India has to show that we will always remain united against terrorism. The opposition believes that a special session of both the houses of Parliament should be called, where the representatives of the people can show their unity and determination. We request that such a special session be called as soon as possible.'
