Rajiv Shukla Likely to Become Interim BCCI President, Will Replace Roger Binny

Mumbai (The Uttam Hindu): An important information related to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has come to light. Rajiv Shukla can become the interim president of BCCI. According to a media report, this change is possible after the current president Roger Binny completes his age limit. According to the BCCI constitution, the maximum age limit for the post of president is 70 years, and Roger Binny will turn 70 on July 19. In such a situation, after the end of his tenure, until a new president is elected, Rajiv Shukla will take over as the interim president.
Rajiv Shukla, currently serving as the Vice President of BCCI, is 65 years old. He has been serving as Vice President since 2020. Apart from this, he has also held important positions like Secretary of Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association (UPCA) and President of Indian Premier League (IPL). Shukla is known for his long experience in cricket administration and political understanding, due to which stability is expected in his interim tenure.
