Woman Arrested for Attempted Trespass at Salman Khan's Residence; Court Orders Judicial Custody

Mumbai (The Uttam Hindu): Isha Chhabra, the woman who forcibly entered Bollywood actor Salman Khan's house Galaxy Apartment, was presented in Bandra Court on Friday. The court has sent her to judicial custody. Earlier, the court had sent her on one-day police remand. Isha Chhabra is a model by profession.

The investigation revealed that on the night of May 21-22, at 3:30 am, Isha reached the gate of Galaxy Apartment and told the security guard that she had to go to the fourth floor. When she went inside, she rang the doorbell of Salman Khan's house, but no one opened the door. Meanwhile, another security guard noticed her and asked Isha about her, who she was and what she was doing there? To this, Isha replied that Salman had called her to meet him, and went back from the lift.

During interrogation, Isha told the police that she is a fan of Salman Khan and that is why she went to his house to meet him. The police said that nothing suspicious has been found in the investigation so far.

At the same time, after this incident, more vigilance is being exercised regarding Salman Khan's security. Now strict surveillance is being kept on every visitor outside the apartment. The police has made it clear that no unknown person will be allowed to enter the building. On the basis of the complaint of the security guard, Bandra Police has registered a case against the woman and is investigating further.

Salman Khan's fans and local people are upset with this incident, because Salman's house has been in the news earlier also for security reasons.

Salman's security was beefed up after he received threats from jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's gang in 2023. He has been given 'Y Plus' category security by the Maharashtra government. He is on the radar of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who wants to take revenge for the superstar's alleged hunting of blackbucks in the 1990s. The Bishnoi community considers blackbucks sacred and the gangster is seeking revenge after Salman's alleged involvement.

On 14 April 2024, two bike-borne men opened fire at his house. Later investigation revealed that the purpose of firing was to scare the actor and it was done on the instructions of Lawrence Bishnoi.

Bishnoi, who came into national limelight after the murder of Punjabi star Sidhu Moosewala in the year 2022, has openly threatened Salman. This year on Eid, the superstar greeted his fans from behind a bulletproof vest on his balcony.

Earlier this year, while talking to the media, Salman had said that moving around with security becomes a problem for him. He also said that he is not afraid of threats and has left the care of himself and his security to God.
