Seelampur Murder Case: 'Lady Don' Among 7 Arrested in Shocking Conspiracy

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Police has taken major action in the case of brutal murder of 17-year-old Kunal in Seelampur area of East Delhi. During the investigation, police has arrested seven accused including the main conspirator Zikra alias 'Lady Don'. These include Sahil and Dilshad who attacked Kunal with a knife. Apart from this, some minors have also been detained. Police investigation revealed that last year on Diwali, Kunal's friends Lala and Shambhu attacked accused Sahil with a knife. Due to this rivalry, Sahil along with his friends and sister Zikra conspired to kill Kunal.
Planning and arrest
Kunal was stabbed to death a short distance from his house on Thursday. The main conspirator Zikra has been sent on two-day police remand. Police are questioning him about the weapon used in the murder and the role of other accused. Police are now also investigating Zikra's possible links with gangsters Hashim Baba and Shoaib Mastan. In the initial interrogation, Zikra has admitted that the murder was plotted out of revenge as Lala, who was involved in the attack on Sahil, is absconding.
After the incident, security was beefed up in the area due to the possibility of tension, but now the number of security forces has been reduced. A limited number of police personnel were seen in the streets, while a contingent of paramilitary forces was deployed on GT Road.
