Shocking Crime in Punjab: Son Guns Down Father in Cold Blood!

Khemkaran (The Uttam Hindu) : A heart-wrenching incident of patricide has shaken the Rattoke Havelian village of Khemkaran, Punjab. On Wednesday morning, a son allegedly shot and killed his father following a heated argument over a demand for money. According to eyewitnesses and family members, the victim, Harjinder Singh, was standing in the courtyard of his house when his son, Jarnail Singh, demanded money from him. The argument escalated, and in a fit of rage, Jarnail Singh retrieved his father's licensed gun from the room and shot Harjinder Singh.
The victim's son-in-law, Gurjant Singh, who was present at the scene, immediately rushed Harjinder Singh to the hospital, where he was declared dead by the doctors. The police have registered a case against Jarnail Singh under sections of the Murder and Arms Act. Khemkaran Police Station Chief SI Gurinder Singh confirmed that the search for the accused is underway, and efforts are being made to apprehend him. The postmortem of the body is being conducted at the Civil Hospital in Patti. The family members and villagers are in shock, struggling to come to terms with the tragic incident.
