This horrific incident occurred in Nindupurwa Tepraha village. On Wednesday morning, which was also the last day of Navratri, a farmer named Vijay Kumar called Suraj Yadav (14) and Sunny Verma (13) from the same village to sow garlic in his field. The two teenagers refused, saying they had work at home due to the festival. Hearing this refusal, Vijay became a monster.

Enraged, Vijay attacked the two teenagers with an axe in the courtyard of his home, killing them.
