New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Artificial Intelligence (AI) has made difficult tasks very easy, but on the other hand, it is also being misused a lot. The latest case was seen in the New Zealand Parliament. Where a female MP showed her nude photo in the Parliament and also told its reality.

MP Laura Mackler created her fake news photo in a few minutes with the help of a website on Google and on May 24, during a debate in Parliament, she showed this picture and said, 'This is my nude photo, but not real. It took me less than 5 minutes to create my deepfake pictures.' After the debate in Parliament, she said in a video on social media, 'I drew the attention of the rest of the members of Parliament to how easy this work is and how much exploitation and harm is being caused by it. Especially for young girls the most.' The female MP said about showing her picture in Parliament that it was a very scary experience, but she wanted strict laws to be made on this issue, so that people do not have to face any kind of trouble.

MP Mackler is now supporting a new bill, named Deepfake Digital Harm and Exploitation Bill, through which old laws related to revenge porn and private videos will be updated. Creating or sharing deepfakes without permission will be considered a crime. Apart from this, the victims will get the right to get such content removed and the process of getting justice will also be made easier.
