Tragic fall: 5-year-old boy dies after plummeting from 3rd floor, CCTV footage emerges

Jetpur (The Uttam Hindu): A heartbreaking incident has unfolded in Jetpur, Gujarat. A five-year-old boy fell from a window on the third floor of Shivshakti Apartments in the Desaiwadi area while playing, resulting in his tragic death. The entire incident was captured on CCTV cameras installed in the apartment. This tragedy is even more poignant because the deceased five-year-old, Jayraj, was the youngest and only brother of his three sisters.
Police Inspector AD Parmar said that Paresh Bhai and Janviben Devmurari live on the third floor of Shivshakti Apartments in the Desaiwadi area of Jetpur with their four children – daughters Mehak (17), Vrinda (15), Sejal (12) and son Jairaj (5) .
According to reports, the incident occurred around noon. His mother, Janviben, was sleeping in an adjacent room, while Jayraj was playing alone in another room. While playing, he suddenly lost his balance and fell from a window.

Upon hearing the loud sound of the child falling , the apartment residents and family members ran outside and found Jairaj lying on the floor in a pool of blood.
Mother Janviben immediately rushed down with her daughters, and her son was immediately taken to the government hospital. However, the doctor on duty at the hospital declared Jayraj dead after examination. It is being reported that Jayraj died on the spot due to severe head injury (hemorrhage) caused by the fall from a height.
The sudden death of their only brother left the mother and three sisters inconsolable. An atmosphere of mourning descended on the hospital following the incident. Police have seized CCTV footage and begun investigating the case from all angles.
