Tragic Road Accident: 4 Dead, Several Injured as Bus Crashes Into Parked Lorry

Vikarabad(The Uttam Hindu): In a tragic road accident early Tuesday morning, four people lost their lives and several others were injured when a private bus collided with a parked lorry in Telangana’s Vikarabad district.

The victims were part of a 60-member group from Chenvelly village in Chevella mandal, Ranga Reddy district, returning home after attending a dinner party in Parigi. The accident occurred near Rangapur on the Bijapur-Hyderabad National Highway in Parigi mandal.

One person died on the spot, while three others succumbed to their injuries at Parigi Government Hospital. The critically injured were shifted to Osmania General Hospital in Hyderabad for advanced treatment. Traffic on the national highway was severely disrupted, leading to long jams spanning several kilometers. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
