New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): A minor seat dispute in train turned deadly for a 39 year old Deepak Yadav who lost his life. The incident took place in a train that was going from Delhi to Saharanpur where the man was beaten to death by 15 angry people who fled after the incident.


It is alleged that even after being informed, the GRP police did not reach the spot, due to which there was a lot of ruckus at the station. A friend of the youth travelling in the train informed the GRP and the family. Deepak was taken off the train and taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Deepak worked in Delhi and came to his home in Baghpat from Delhi every Friday. The incident happened on Friday, but its video surfaced on Saturday. Deepak was returning home after duty. Deepak (39), son of Rishi Yadav, a resident of Mohalla Ahiran in Khekra town of Baghpat, worked in a factory in Delhi. Late Friday night, he was returning home by Delhi-Saharanpur passenger train after duty. Near Fakharpur station, Deepak got into an argument with some local youths over sitting on the seat.

After this, 15 to 20 people attacked him with kicks and belts. Some passengers in the train tried to save him, but the accused pushed them away. The accused beat Deepak from Fakharpur to Khekra station, i.e. for about 10 kilometers. A passenger in the train knew Deepak. He called Deepak's family and informed them. Deepak was the only son in the family. Deepak married Savitri 12 years ago. Deepak has two children. A 12-year-old daughter Aayushi and a two and a half year old son Aviral. He has a sister Pallavi. She is married. Deepak was working in a chandelier showroom in Bhagirath Palace, Delhi for about 15 years.
