Washington (The Uttam Hindu): Former U.S. President Donald Trump has once again made a significant statement regarding the tensions between India and Pakistan. He said that if a war-like situation arises again between the two countries, the United States will not enter into any trade agreement with either side.

Trump stated that the U.S. is in the process of negotiating trade deals with both India and Pakistan, and he is proud of that. He claimed that through trade, rather than bullets, they have been able to prevent the risk of a nuclear war. Referring to the history of conflicts between the two countries, Trump said that every time there has been a war, talks and agreements have followed. However, this time the U.S. has attempted to establish peace through trade, which he considers a matter of pride.

He added that there was a very dangerous conflict between Pakistan and India, but the situation has now improved. Donald Trump India Pakistan, US trade deal warning, India Pakistan tensions, Trump nuclear war statement, Indo-Pak conflict, Trump on South Asia, US mediation India Pakistan

Speaking to reporters at Joint Base Andrews after taking off from Air Force One, Trump said that Pakistani representatives are visiting the U.S. next week, and an agreement with India is also very close. However, he clearly stated that if the two nations head toward war, he would not be interested in making deals with either.
