TTP and Balochistan Attack Pakistan Army , 22 Soldiers killed; Many Injured

New Delhi (Uttam Hindu News): Amid tensions with India, Pakistan is now facing fierce attacks on its own soil. Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and separatist groups of Balochistan have opened a front against the Pak Army. According to the latest information, a total of 22 Pakistani soldiers have been confirmed killed in these attacks.
According to War Observer's report, TTP attacked Dangate post in South Waziristan late Thursday night. 20 Pakistani soldiers were killed in this attack. Reports suggest that TTP fighters first targeted six Pakistani soldiers with laser rifles, after which a fierce attack was made on the post using light weapons. When additional Pakistani soldiers were sent from Mantoi after getting information about the attack, TTP ambushed them too. In this retaliatory attack, TTP also completely destroyed two army vehicles.
TTP has claimed to have killed 20 soldiers and seriously injured 5 in this attack. However, a TTP fighter Musab was also killed during this. After killing the soldiers, TTP also captured many military equipment including 5 rifles, 1 rocket launcher and night vision.
According to media reports, TTP spokesperson Mohammad Khurasani has claimed that this attack is a retaliation for the Pakistani army giving information about Jaish-e-Mohammed's Bahawalpur headquarters to India. Khurasani says that 14 people, including 10 family members of Masood Azhar, were killed in that attack.
Apart from the TTP attacks, on Friday evening, Baloch insurgents also attacked the Pakistani army in Turbat, Quetta and several other surrounding areas. 2 Pakistani soldiers have been killed in these attacks. It is worth noting that about a week ago, 10 Pakistani soldiers were also killed in an IED blast in Quetta, which has further aggravated the internal security challenges for Pakistan.
