New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): The services of the country's leading telecom company Airtel once again came to a standstill across the country on Sunday. This is the second time within a week that Airtel's network has failed customers. Due to this major outage, millions of users are neither able to make voice calls nor use mobile internet. Along with this, the company's broadband services also stopped suddenly, due to which people working from home had to face a lot of problems.

Thousands of customers from different areas including many big cities of the country have complained about this problem in the network. Many users have reported on social media about call drops, signal loss and in some cases complete network blackout.

According to DownDetector, a website that tracks network outages, reports of problems with Airtel's network started coming in around 10:44 am. The problem reached its peak by 12:14 pm, when more than 7,000 users simultaneously reported non-functioning of calling and internet services.

This is the second major incident within a week when Airtel's services have been disrupted in this manner. Earlier, on Tuesday, August 19, a similar problem affected more than 3,500 users across India. Due to such repeated problems, customers are very angry about the company's services.
