This car is a great gift for lovers of speed and luxury. The company has launched this new offering to fill the gap between the standard Q8 and the top model RS Q8. This amazing SUV is equipped with a powerful 4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, which is also available in its top model RS Q8, although it has been slightly detuned for the SQ8. Official bookings for the car have already started.
65 lakh more expensive than the standard model
Audi has launched its stunning SQ8 in the Indian market at a starting ex-showroom price of ₹1.78 crore. In terms of pricing, the standard Audi Q8 is priced at ₹1.13 crore, while its high-performance RS Q8 model is priced at ₹2.34 crore (ex-showroom). This makes the new SQ8 ₹6.5 million more expensive than its standard trim, but also around ₹5.6 million cheaper than the top-end performance trim, making it a perfect middle ground for customers.
100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds, the engine has tremendous power
The new Audi SQ8's biggest highlight is its powerful engine and fast acceleration. Its 4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine produces a whopping 507 hp and a peak torque of 770 Nm. This powerful engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox, which delivers power to all four wheels. The company claims that this massive SUV can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds, and its top speed is limited to 250 km/h. For excellent ride quality, the car comes with premium features like air suspension and standard Matrix LED headlights with headlight washers.
Premium design with advanced safety and ADAS features
The car's exterior and interior offer a sporty and luxurious look. A connected OLED taillight setup, a roof-mounted spoiler, and the distinctive black SQ8 badge distinguish it on the road. Inside, the cabin features a large 12.3-inch driver display, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and an 8.6-inch touchscreen for operating four-zone climate control. For entertainment, features include a powerful 17-speaker audio system, a panoramic sunroof, and wireless phone charging. Safety features include eight airbags, a 360-degree camera, and Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) technology.
