Punjab and Sind Bank, a Government of India-owned institution, has invited applications for 1000 Local Bank Officer positions across various states
New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Punjab and Sind Bank has released a notification for recruitment to the post of Local Bank Officer for young people preparing for government bank jobs. This bank is a Government of India-owned institution headquartered in New Delhi.
According to the notification issued, a total of 1,000 posts will be filled under this recruitment. Vacancies for these posts have been fixed in different states of the country. The maximum number of 200 posts are in Uttar Pradesh, while 125 posts will be recruited in Gujarat and 100 posts in Punjab. Apart from this, 80-80 posts are in Chhattisgarh and Odisha, 65 in Tamil Nadu, 60-60 posts in Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, 50 in Assam, 30 in Telangana, 30 in West Bengal, 20 in Himachal Pradesh, 15 in Arunachal Pradesh, 10-10 in Jharkhand and Kerala and 5 posts in Nagaland.
Candidates applying for this recruitment must be between 18 and 30 years of age. However, age relaxation will be provided to reserved category candidates as per government rules.
Regarding educational qualifications, candidates who have graduated from a recognized institution can apply for these positions. The selection process will be conducted in two stages: a written examination followed by an interview. Final selection will be based on merit.
Selected candidates will receive an attractive salary. Upon appointment, candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹48,480 to ₹85,920.
An application fee has also been set. Candidates in the General, EWS, and OBC categories will have to pay ₹850 plus applicable taxes and payment gateway fees. For SC, ST, and PWD candidates, the fee is ₹100, plus additional taxes and charges.
