BSNL Shakes Telecom Space: 180-Day Plan and 1 Lakh 5G Towers

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Government telecom company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is now fully prepared to give tough competition to private companies Jio, Airtel and Vi on every front. On the one hand, while BSNL has strengthened its network by installing 1 lakh new 4G/5G towers across the country, on the other hand, it has introduced a cheap plan with a validity of 180 days, which can blow the minds of private companies.

Network strengthened, preparations for 5G launch

The chairman of the telecom company recently announced that BSNL is preparing to install 1 lakh more new towers. Along with this, the company is also going to launch its full 5G service soon. It has started with 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) service in Hyderabad, which will soon be launched in other cities of South India.

BSNL's amazing plan with 180 days validity

This prepaid plan of BSNL is for ₹ 897. In this, customers get a long validity of 180 days. This plan includes unlimited calling on any network, 100 free SMS daily and free national roaming facility.

For data, a total of 90GB high-speed data is provided in it, there is no daily limit for using it. If the user wants, he can use this data anytime in a day or during the entire validity.

Much cheaper than Jio, Airtel, Vi

If we compare this plan of BSNL with private companies, then in the range of ₹ 900, companies like Jio, Airtel and Vi offer plans with validity of only 84 days. At the same time, Vi's plan with 180 days validity is more than twice as expensive as that of BSNL. In such a situation, this plan of BSNL is an excellent and affordable option for users who want long validity.
