Big Relief on Inflation: LPG Cylinder Prices Reduced; Check the New Rates

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): The month of December has begun with several changes, and LPG users received major relief on the very first day. From today, the prices of commercial LPG cylinders have been reduced across the country. Oil marketing companies have cut the prices of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders, while the prices of 14 kg domestic LPG cylinders remain unchanged.
From 1 December, the price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi has dropped from ₹1590 to ₹1580. In Kolkata, the rate has been reduced by ₹10, bringing it down from ₹1694 to ₹1684. Among the other major cities, Mumbai will now get the commercial cylinder for ₹1531 instead of ₹1542, and in Chennai, the price has decreased from ₹1750 to ₹1739.
Before this, on 1 November as well, prices of commercial LPG cylinders were reduced across all major cities. This marks the second consecutive month of price cuts. In other cities, the 14 kg domestic cylinder in Patna costs ₹951, while the 19 kg commercial cylinder is priced at ₹1843.50. In Lucknow, the commercial cylinder costs ₹1703, and the domestic one is available for ₹890.50. In Bhopal, the commercial LPG cylinder now costs ₹1607.50, while the domestic cylinder is priced at ₹858.50.
