New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): French car manufacturer Renault is strengthening its hold in the Indian automobile market. The latest sales report of November 2025 has proved that the trust of Renault cars is continuously increasing among Indian customers. In this race, Renault Triber has emerged as the most successful car of the company. Last month, this car got a total of 2,064 new buyers, which shows its tremendous popularity. If compared to the figures of last year i.e. November 2024, then there has been a huge jump of about 38.90 percent in the sales of Triber. In the same month last year, its sales figure was 1,486 units.

The Triber's success can be gauged from the fact that in November 2025, this model alone accounted for 56.36 percent of Renault's total sales. This means that more than half of the company's sales came from just one model. The biggest reason behind its popularity is believed to be its affordability. The Renault Triber's starting ex-showroom price in the Indian market is ₹5.76 lakh, making it a strong 7-seater option in the budget segment. Due to its large space and seating capacity at a low price, it remains the preferred choice of middle-class families.

Renault Kiger secured the second position in terms of sales. This compact SUV also performed well, selling 1,151 units in November 2025. Kiger sales saw a strong 47.75 percent year-on-year growth, which is quite impressive compared to 779 units in November 2024. However, the company's entry-level hatchback, Kwid, had a less than impressive month last year. The Kwid managed to find only 447 customers, and its sales declined by 18.13 percent year-on-year, leaving it at the bottom of the sales list.

Amidst these sales figures, Renault fans have some good news. The company is bringing back its popular SUV, the Duster, to the Indian market in the new year. A first look at the new Renault Duster will be unveiled on Republic Day, January 26, 2026. According to reports, the Duster will be launched in a completely new avatar, featuring major changes to its exterior and interior. Its powertrain is also expected to receive significant updates. However, the company has not yet officially announced the price of the new Duster.
