Gold and Silver prices plummet: Rates drop in Delhi and across India on November 8; check today's price

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Gold prices have taken a significant dip across major cities in India, with 24-carat gold selling at ₹1,22,160 per 10 grams in Delhi. The recent decline in gold and silver prices can be attributed to a combination of factors, including fluctuations in the international market and a decrease in demand following the festive season. As a result, investors are eyeing the current market with interest, hoping to capitalize on the lower prices.
The drop in prices is not limited to Delhi alone; cities like Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Patna, and Hyderabad have also witnessed a decline in gold rates. For instance, in Mumbai, 24-carat gold is selling at ₹1,22,010 per 10 grams, while in Chennai, it's priced at ₹1,22,940 per 10 grams. Silver prices have also fallen, trading around ₹1,52,400 per kg in Delhi, down from ₹1,52,600 on the previous day. Experts believe that this could be an opportune moment for investors to buy, as prices may rise again in the future. With gold being a traditional safe-haven investment, many are waiting for prices to fall further to invest in the precious metal.
