PM Modi releases ₹18,640 crore to farmers: Check if your name is on the 22nd installment list

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday, March 13, gave a major gift to millions of farmers across the country. During a grand event held in Guwahati, Assam, PM Modi released the 22nd installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Under this, an honorarium of ₹2,000 each was transferred to the bank accounts of 93.2 million eligible farmers. The government sent a massive sum of over ₹18,640 crore directly to the farmers' accounts, which has gradually started reaching the bank accounts of all beneficiaries.

If you are an eligible beneficiary of this scheme, the 22nd installment of ₹2,000 will soon be deposited into your bank account. Typically, the bank sends an alert message to your registered mobile number upon crediting the funds. However, if you haven't received the message, there's no need to worry. You can find out by checking your bank account balance directly. The government has clarified that eKYC and a Farmer ID are mandatory to receive the scheme's benefits without interruption. Farmers who have completed this process will receive their funds safely in their accounts.

To confirm whether you'll receive the 22nd installment, you'll need to visit the PM Kisan website and check your name on the beneficiary list. Only if your name is included on this list will the money be credited to your account; otherwise, you may lose out on this benefit. To check your name, first visit the PM Kisan website (pmkisan.gov.in). Click on the "Beneficiary List" option below "Farmers Corner" on the home page. Carefully enter your state, district, sub-district, block, and village name and click "Get Report." This will bring up the full list, allowing you to easily search for your name.
