According to Michigan Lottery officials, 45-year-old Tammy Carvey said she purchased a Powerball lottery ticket online in September. She usually plays the lottery only when the jackpot is very large. This time, the jackpot reached more than $1 billion (about Rs 8,300 crore), so she decided to try her luck.

Speaking about this unique win, Tammy said, “This time, instead of choosing the numbers myself, I asked ChatGPT for some Powerball numbers and used those numbers on my ticket.”

Tammy's luck shone in the draw held on September 6. The numbers on her ticket matched four white balls and the Powerball, winning her a prize of $50,000 (approximately Rs 44 lakh).

But Tammy's joy doubled when she learned about another feature of her ticket. She explained, "When I checked the winning numbers, I thought I had won $50,000. But when I logged into my Michigan Lottery account, I realized I had also taken the 'Power Play' option, which doubled my winnings to $100,000!"

"My husband and I were absolutely shocked," said Tammy. She described the win as a "huge gift" for her life, saying she would use the money to pay off her home loan and increase her savings.
