Mahindra announces December bonanza with up to ₹3.80 lakh discount on its premium electric SUV XEV 9e

New Delhi (The Uttam Hindu): Car buyers have good news at the end of the year. Mahindra, one of India’s major automobile manufacturers, has announced heavy discounts on its electric vehicles for December. The company is offering the biggest benefit on its premium electric SUV, the XEV 9e, with discounts of up to ₹3.80 lakh depending on the variant. The offer includes cash discounts, loyalty bonuses, exchange benefits, and corporate schemes. To attract more customers, Mahindra is also giving additional advantages such as free PPF coating and extended warranty on select models. The company has clarified that these offers are available for a limited period, making it a good opportunity for buyers planning to purchase a new EV.

The Mahindra XEV 9e is known for its spacious design and premium build. It is developed on a large platform and measures 4789 mm in length, 1907 mm in width, and 1694 mm in height, giving it a strong road presence. For passenger comfort, it offers a wheelbase of 2775 mm and a ground clearance of 207 mm, suitable for rough roads. The SUV includes a large 663-liter boot and a 150-liter front trunk for extra storage. Its 19-inch and 20-inch tyres further enhance comfort and safety during driving.

In terms of battery and performance, Mahindra offers two options. The 59 kWh battery variant delivers 231 hp and 380 Nm of torque, providing a range of 542 km on a full charge. It can charge significantly in just 20 minutes with a 140 kW fast charger. For those wanting more power, the long-range variant with a 79 kWh battery generates 286 hp and offers an impressive 656 km range. The top model accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in only 6.8 seconds and supports 170 kW fast charging, allowing rapid charging in around 20 minutes.
