Tech Mahindra Asia Head shot 9 times in Faridabad, had come from Singapore for nephew's wedding

Faridabad (The Uttam Hindu): A minor dispute over parking and walking a pet dog took a bloody turn on Friday night in Faridabad, Haryana. Tech Mahindra's Asia Head Paramjeet Dhankhar was brutally murdered by his neighbour in Sector-21C by firing indiscriminately with a licensed pistol. The attacker fired around 15 rounds at him, 9 of which hit Paramjeet and he died on the spot. After committing the crime, the accused fled the scene with his entire family. The police, who reached the spot after receiving information, sealed the scene and started forensic investigation and recovered several empty cartridge shells from the spot.

As soon as he returned from the gym, there was a dispute over parking, the accused opened fire

According to the police, Paramjeet Dhankhar's family lives on the first floor of house number 641 in Sector-21C, whereas the family of the accused Monu Sharma alias Mohan lives on the third floor of the same building. On Friday night, when Paramjeet returned from the gym with his car, he saw Monu's car parked at his designated parking place. When he asked Monu to remove his car from there, an argument started between the two parties. The matter escalated so much that in anger, Monu took out his licensed pistol and fired 15 rounds at Paramjeet.

There was a fight four days ago also regarding making the dog defecate

Surajkund police station in-charge Prahlad said that there was a long-standing rift between the two families regarding making the pet dog defecate in the parking lot and parking the vehicles. Four-five days ago also there was a heated argument between the accused Monu and Paramjeet's son Shaurya regarding the same issue, which was calmed down after intervention by the local people and neighbours. Due to the old enmity, the matter again heated up on Friday night and within no time it turned into a bloody incident.

Had come to India from Singapore to attend nephew's wedding, FIR lodged against 5 on son's complaint

Deceased Paramjeet Dhankhar was working in Singapore as Asia Head in Tech Mahindra. He had come to his home in Faridabad from Singapore on 5th November to attend his nephew's wedding on 24th November. His son Shaurya informed the police immediately after the incident. On the complaint of son Shaurya, Surajkund police station has registered a case under murder and related sections against 5 people including main accused Monu Sharma, his wife Divya, son Mayank, daughter Naina and brother Hetram. The body has been sent to Civil Hospital for postmortem and police teams are raiding possible hideouts to arrest the absconding accused family.
